Insul-Tube® 3-foot (pre-slit / 1 ½” wall thickness) is a black, flexible elastomeric foam tube used to retard heat gain and prevent condensation on piping applications. It meets a 25/50 flame spread / smoke development rating when tested according to ASTM E 84. This easy-to-use insulation is pre-slit and 3 foot in length for trouble-free handling and its closed cell foam structure protects against moisture penetration. The 1 ½” wall thickness provides optimum performance against condensation control in high humidity applications.
This exceptional insulation provides the best solution for applications within a -297°F to 220°F temperature range. Insul-Tube® 3-foot (pre-slit / 1 ½” thickness) is primarily used in the HVAC/R market and available in a variety of sizes from 5/8” to 4-1/2” ID.
Insul-Tube® products are non-porous and non-fibrous and resist mold, fungal and bacterial growth. For added protection, all Insul-Tube® products are protected with an antimicrobial agent. All Insul-Tube® products are GREEGUARD certified for Indoor Air Quality, for the Children and Schools certification, and approved through supervision by the Factory Mutual Research Corporation.
