K-Flex Duct® Liner Gray is elastomeric, closed-cell insulation. Easy to clean and functional, this double-sided skin product provides an ideal surface to resist moisture and dirt, while maintaining the closed-cell structure of the elastomeric foam. The double-sided skin can be used with either side facing away from the applied surface, resulting in less waste if one side becomes damaged.
K-Flex Duct® Liner Gray provides excellent thermal and acoustical resistance when used on air handling units and ducts. By reducing heat loss/gain and preventing condensation or frost formation, K-Flex Duct® Liner Gray increases the efficiency of HVAC systems, lowers long-term utility costs and controls the levels of moisture that lead to mold growth.
Available in flat sheets and rolls, this product is recommended for applications ranging from -40°F to 200°F.
K-Flex Duct® Liner products are non-porous, fiber-free and resist mold, fungal and bacterial growth. For added protection, all K-Flex Duct® Liner products are protected with an antimicrobial agent. All K-Flex Duct® Liner products are GREENGUARD® certified for Indoor Air Quality and the Children and Schools designation, and are listed for the Microbial Resistance classification. K-Flex Duct® Liner Gray meets the 25/50 flame spread and smoke development rating up to 2” thick according to ASTM E-84 standards.
K-Flex Duct® Liner Gray is R-8 at 2” thickness. R-values designate the thermal resistance value of a material. R-8 equals 8 resistance units and is currently required in more than 30 state building codes.
