Insul-Lock® Seam-Seal 3-foot is similar to our Insul-Tube® products with the exception that Insul-Lock® Seam-Seal 3-foot is pre-slit, 3 foot in length for easier handling and uses the pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) seam-seal system.
The PSA system enables the user to fit the tube over the pipe, peel back the release liner and apply pressure to close (starting at the ends and working your way to the center) to install your insulation in seconds! This system guarantees a strong, durable seal without the risk of messy adhesives that could spill.
Insul-Lock® Seam-Seal 3-foot is a black, flexible pre-slit elastomeric tube used to retard heat gain and prevent condensation on piping applications within a -70°F to 200°F temperature range.
Insul-Lock® Seam-Seal 3-foot is primarily used in the HVAC/R market and comes in 3’ lengths in a variety of sizes from 5/8” to 2-5/8” inside diameter in 1/2” and 1” wall thicknesses.
Insul-Lock® products are non-porous and non-fibrous and will not permit mold, fungal and bacterial growth. For added protection, all Insul-Lock® products are protected with an antimicrobial agent. All Insul-Lock® products are GREENGUARD certified for Indoor Air Quality, for the Children and Schools certification, and approved through supervision by the Factory Mutual Research Corporation.
