Insul-Tube® 6-foot (unslit) is a black, flexible elastomeric foam tube used to retard heat gain and prevent condensation on piping applications. The closed-cell properties of Insul-Tube® 6-foot (unslit) create exceptional thermal insulation, protect against moisture penetration and provide the best solution for applications within a -297°F to +220°F temperature range.
Insul-Tube® 6-foot (unslit) is primarily used in the HVAC/R market and comes in 6’ lengths in a variety of sizes from 5/8” to 6-5/8” inside diameter up to 2” wall thickness. It is 25/50-rated, according to ASTM E-84 standards for surface burning characteristics of building materials, up to 2" thick walls.
Insul-Tube® products are non-porous and non-fibrous and resist mold, fungal and bacterial growth. For added protection, all Insul-Tube® products are protected with an antimicrobial agent.
